The Surprising Text

A few days later, Lexa threw herself on her bed, freshly showered, sweatpants on, ready to relax with her newest book. She had just finished the first chapter of Stardust when her phone vibrated rudely on her bedside table.

The annoyance she felt at the intrusion fled as soon as she saw the sender. Lexa swiftly swiped open the notification.

Lexa locked her phone when no new text came in after a few moments. She snuggled back into her pillows and opened her book again. When a new message came through several minutes later, Lexa didn’t even think twice before swiping it open.

Lexa shot up with so much speed and force; she promptly fell off the bed. Lexa cursed under her breath as she attempted to pick up her phone calmly. She opened her texts once again, letting her gaze linger on the tantalizingly tasteful yet very suggestive cleavage shot.

Lexa wasn’t completely naive. She knew exactly what Clarke was waiting for. Her cheeks flushed an uncomfortable red as she even considered taking a photo of her own. But what would she take a picture of? She didn’t have the ample cleavage Clarke did, and she really wasn’t comfortable with sending anything where she was completely bare.

Lexa sighed and situated herself on her bed. She lifted her shirt just enough to expose her tight abs. She took a few different shots, changing the angle until she was satisfied with one.

Lexa squeezed her eyes shut. Was she even comfortable sending anything at all? Was she ready for whatever could come from this?
